Everybody, meet Melissa! Melissa joined the New Horizon team as a Nurse Practitioner at the end of this past summer, and has a passion for helping others. We’re happy to have her here!

Q: What is your job title and when did you start working here?

A:  Nurse Practitioner; started end of August, 2018.

Q: What do you like best about New Horizon so far?

A: The staff is so welcoming, supportive, and always smiling! It was easy to be myself.

Q: Why did you start working in this field?

A: I love helping others, and health and wellness is what I personally strive for, so this place was perfect to begin my career as a Nurse Practitioner.

Q: When you’re not working at New Horizon, what are you most likely to be doing?

A: Napping, homework, watching comedies or documentaries, and/or out and about with family or friends!

Q: What’s your favorite food?

A: No favorites, as long as it tastes good I’ll eat it.

Q: What’s your favorite movie/tv show?

A: Insecure (on HBO), Atypical (on Netflix), documentaries, comedies, action and an occasional love story.
